Do Halloween different - Dress in costume and race through the haunted trail! Or offer this as an add-on to a more traditional Halloween event. Whether independent or add-on, this a great way to add some fright to the holiday and have a unique event.

There are two opportunities for an event built around the walking trails - National Trails Day (1st Sat. in June) and National Hiking Day (Nov. 17). Take advantage of the trail network on your campus and your employees' interest in the outdoors to create a unique event.
Fitness Challenge

Fitness Challenge

Take a minute to remember the efforts of our armed forces to maintain our safety by encouraging employees to see just how fit they are. The Murph Challenge reminds us of the commitment our military folks exhibit and just how physically fit they have to be. This can inspire more healthy living in employees. The challenge can also be done as a month-long improvement event to improve the fitness of tenants. This event generally requires partnering with a fitness instructor or mobile gym, so it operates quite differently than other events.
5K for Veterans Day

5K for Veterans Day

Remember those who served with a run followed by a healthier food truck option. Pair this with a month long fitness challenge. Recognize veterans working on campus. Partner with a local non-profit that supports veterans.
Christmas Party

Christmas Party

Close out your season with a holiday event. An event can be very Christmas specific with ornament making or tree decorating or more general with cookies and hot chocolate. Consider pairing with a toy donation drive or after completion of a drive to celebrate tenant generosity. The weather is much cooler, so this is likely the last event of the season. In some climates, it might be better held in an indoor space. Go ahead and be silly or a little sentimental, as you see fit.

Holiday Light Show

Invite employees to stay late one night and light up the lawn or other common area! Take advantage of the efforts your grounds staff take to make the campus festive and host an event to enjoy the efforts. If outside decor is less coordinated on your campus, consider encouraging more effort through some friendly ocmpetition.
