Hi, I’m Rod, the co-founder of EMPA-NADAS. My wife Erika and I were balancing our busy professional lives while raising our son when he was diagnosed with food sensitivities to gluten, dairy, and soy. We struggled to find healthier, cleaner, and tasty meal options that fit our active lifestyle, including school, horseback riding, and hiking. This challenge sparked our love, passion, and creativity, leading to the creation of "EMPA-NADAS"—empanadas free from ingredients like gluten, dairy, soy, high fructose, corn syrup, cornstarch, tomato, peanuts, fish, shellfish, sesame, sulfites, preservatives, artificial ingredients, MSG, and dyes.
Our focus is on serving the underserved: those with food sensitivities, the health-conscious, and, most importantly, children with allergies who often miss out on delicious treats.
