New England Tastes in NC π π
Nor'East thought they would bring a few key elements of the New England culinary experience to a food truck/trailer in the mid-south. More rustic and homey than loud and flashy, Nor'East brings a New England Ice Cream Shop & Diner experience directly to North Carolina with other regional favorites thrown in for good measure. π₯§
Here's what one happy customer had to say on Google about their experience with Nor'East Family Treats & Eats:
I tried the food truck for the first time last year and I've been wanting to find them ever since but never quite got around to it. I'm glad to see they have a physical location now they are located inside of the Town & Country Ford on Independence Boulevard. They make very good use of the space is given to them. There are places to sit maybe I think six to seven tables and a table built into the wall that you can sit at also. They also sell the products from up North.
They are very friendly , the food was just as good that's when I tried it last year. There is nothing in house that they buy they pretty much make all their products themselves. I remember trying the homemade ice cream last year and it was incredible along with the three berry crumble I looked over the menu I really couldn't decide what I wanted because everything looked and sounded so good but I went with what I got last year and I got the pimento cheese burger with bacon and tomatoes.
Their burgers are evenly seasoned with black pepper,it's not overpowering but it leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The onion rings are beautifully battered, delicious and crispy they're fries are fresh cut and delicious. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly I was able to move around freely. I definitely wish this restaurant much success. If you want great food and great people check them out. Remember they are inside Town and Country Ford on Independence." π π π¦π
