Share your menu. Trucks typically have their menu on the truck itself or on a small signboard out front. When there’s a line, it can be difficult to read your menu from afar. Including a QR code to your menu that customers can scan from the back of the line will keep them occupied while waiting and can ensure they know what they want to order in advance so your line can move quickly.

Take orders. QR codes are a great way to take orders from customers without them having to wait in a line. Simply have your QR code posted somewhere near your truck and link the code to your ordering site from their phones. This could be a pre-order page, a shopping page, or something else that makes more sense for your business.

Ask for reviews. QR codes are a great way to link directly to a page to review your truck. This ease in technology will incentivize consumers to go directly to review your food and service right after buying from you. Gaining reviews from consumers is a great way to strengthen testimonials, build brand clarity, and gives you a great read on how foodies like your menu or the quality of your food. Even if you don’t always get a 5-star rating, your customer is giving you valuable information you can learn from. Reviews can keep us always improving!
